The Fleetwood Chronicles - Delays & Disruption Stena Fleetwood - Larne Service

The following notes are provided by an ISS correspondent and record many of the recent delays caused by gales on the Fleetwood - Larne service operated by Stena Line.

Leader broken down at Fleetwood

Seafarer dep 0810 spent most of the day sheltering off the IOM waiting on Leader to sail

Fri 12/1/07
Leader arr 1425 assisted by Sarah. In ever strengthening westerly (off the quay) winds, at 1530 ordered firstly Sarah then Noleen to push and keep her alongside. Tugs pushing until 2230 when winds calmed and loading was able to continue.

Seafarer arrived off port at ~1830 but had to dodge the weather outside to the north her berth was occupied.

Leader dep 0950 after completing engine repairs

Seafarer loaded drops and remained alongside at Larne

Leader at sea sheltering from weather off East of IOM enroute to Fleetwood

Seafarer dep 2130 after Leader reported she was making progress towards Fleetwood
Leader arrived Fleetwood at 2200 after approx 36 hours at sea
