You may not have heard of the magazine "FERRYcompass" before.  The magazine isn't available in the shops but is available throughout Europe on subscription.

As "Ferrycompass" is published in Germany may readers from the British Isles may expect to have to be able to read German before they can gain any benefit from this publication. This isn't so! - The  magazine is bi-lingual with material appearing in both German and English languages.

To give details of the wide range of material of appearing in the magazine - contents of articles appearing in the English language appear below. Other items which appear in only in the German language usually have summaries in English.

The magazine is well illustrated throughout in colour and back and white.

A strong feature of the magazine - which sets it apart from its contemporaries is the importance placed on interviews with key players in the shipping industry from shipyards to shipping companies and ship operators.

For those wanting to increase their knowledge of the ferry operations particularly in Europe, "Ferrycompass" compliments existing shipping publications and is a recommended read for enthusiasts and professionals interested in ferry operations.
